  1. Pavement group age was significantly increased compared to all groups. Pavement % TBSA, hospital LOS, procedures, and median hospital charges were significantly increased compared to the other contact group. Pavement ISS was significantly increased compared to the road rash group. There was no significant difference in hospital charges for the pavement vs the MVC group, p = 0.8.
