2018 Burns & Trauma Editorial Board Meeting Held during ISFBS

On May 18th, Burns & Trauma successfully held an editorial board meeting during the 2018 International Summit Forum on Burns & Trauma (ISFBS), which has been successfully held by the Institute of Burn Research, Southwest hospital for three times since 2016.

A total of 13 editorial board members and 3 international experts attended the meeting. The Editor-in-Chief Prof. Jun Wu expressed his great gratitude to all the editorial board members for their substantial support, said that the journal will not achieve such progress without their whole-hearted devotion. And then, Prof. Wu presented the certificates for Outstanding Paper and Special Contribution awards to the authors and guest editors of Burns & Trauma.

Hosted by Prof. Wu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Prof. Tina Palmieri, Associate editor Prof. Gaoxing Luo and other 10 editorial board members from 6 countries and regions had a heated discussion on many key issues on the journal development. Also, the guest editor Prof. Yixin Zhang made a brief report on the progress of the special issue plan.

The meeting turns out to be very efficient and effective. Burns & Trauma will stay true to the mission that providing a platform for scholarly communication and achievement exhibition for researchers and clinicians from home and abroad.
